Announcement on underwriting capital increase by third-party allotment

SOFTBANK CORP., (hereafter ‘the Company’) announces that it has agreed to underwrite capital increase by third-party allotment of new shares issued by App TOKYO (Head office; Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO; Akihiro Yokoi) and APPLIYA Inc., (Head office; Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO; Haleo Shiiya). Both companies provide applications for ‘iPhone™ 3G (by Apple).’

The two companies have been developing various applications of high quality for ‘iPhone™ 3G.’ The Company will provide total support through forming a partnership with the two companies.
