Dividends Receipt from Consolidated Subsidiary

SOFTBANK CORP. (hereinafter “SOFTBANK” today received dividends from Yahoo Japan Corporation (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Masahiro Inoue), a consolidated subsidiary of SOFTBANK as follows.

(1)Receipt amount approximately 2.5 billion yen
(2)Date of reception June 10, 2008

2.Impact on financial results

SOFTBANK expects to record approximately 2.5 billion yen in dividends received as non-operating income on a stand-alone basis, for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009. As a result, SOFTBANK expects that the above mentioned dividends receipt will contribute approximately 2.5 billion yen to ordinary income and net income.

On a consolidated basis, dividends received from a consolidated subsidiary will be eliminated as inter-company transaction.
