Announcement of Dividend Payout
May 8, 2008SOFTBANK CORP. (hereafter “the Company”) announces that the Board of Directors, at its meeting held today, has resolved to pay cash dividends from retained earnings to shareholders on record as of March 31, 2008 as described below.

2. Reasons
The company has a basic policy to return its profits appropriately to all stakeholder groups including shareholders through augmenting enterprise value.
Reflecting this dividend policy the Company set the dividend payout as shown above, taking the need to maintain a proper balance between bolstering the operating base and preserving a stable dividend from a medium-to long-term perspective into perspective. This matter is planned to be brought to the 28th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders which is scheduled to be held on June 25, 2008, for discussion.
