Changes to Benefit Program for Shareholders

SOFTBANK CORP. announced that its Board of Directors has approved changes to the benefit program for shareholders as described below at the meeting of the Board of Directors held on November 1, 2007.

1. Eligible for preferential treatment

Shareholders and beneficial shareholders, with more than 100 shares (hereinafter ‘shareholders’) as of March 31 and September 30 every year.

2.Description

Preferential treatment of SOFTBANK MOBILE service to shareholders

• (1) Provide gift certificates^*1 of 10,000 yen to new subscribers of SOFTBANK MOBILE^*2.

  • *1Unable to combine with other campaigns during the same period.
  • *2Mandatory to subscribe to ‘New Super Bonus’, one line only. Corporate customers and prepaid customers are not eligible.

• (2) Three months free of monthly fee^*3*4 of Basic Option Package^*5 to SOFTBANK MOBILE customers who subscribed, or plan to subscribe to Basic Option Package during the period of preferential treatment.

  • *4Provide preferential treatment to users in the middle of free months of Basic Option Package after the end of the free months.
  • *5Basic Option Package is a service package which includes ‘Secure Remote Lock’, ‘Spam mail filter & Address book back-up’, ‘Lost Mobile Phone Search’, ‘Voice Mail Plus’, ‘Call Waiting’, and ‘Multi-party Calling’ (For 3G handsets. Some service may not be available due to the subscription content or handset model).

Preferential treatment of Yahoo! BB service to shareholders

• (1) Cashback of 10,000 yen^*1 to new subscribers to Yahoo! BB ADSL Standard type or Yahoo! BB ADSL No-telephone line subscription right type. At the same time, new subscribers to BBTV (Basic Channel Pack) will receive a 2,000 yen^*2 additional cashback.

  • *2Discount below will be applied to those existing customers to Yahoo! BB ADSL Standard type or Yahoo! BB ADSL No-telephone line subscription right type who newly subscribe to BBTV.

• (2) Discount the equivalent amount of ADSL service (or ISP service) ^*1*2 to existing customers to any of the line services below and any of the optional services.

3. Timing of implementation

Above changes will be applied to shareholders as of September 30, 2007, the preferential treatment coupon will be sent to the shareholders by mail during the first half of December 2007.
