Comment on Calyon Capital Markets Analyst’s Report

SOFTBANK CORP. (“SOFTBANK”) issues an official comment on the analyst report released by Calyon Capital Markets Asia B.V., Tokyo Branch (on February 27, 2007) as follows.

The report includes statements concerning our accounting policies, portraying them to be inadequate, which could invite misunderstandings. It is based on mistaken facts and speculation of the analyst rather than an official interview. Moreover, there are no such facts.

SOFTBANK will issue strong objections to both the above company and analyst, while consulting the authorities concerned, and take the necessary measures.
