SOFTBANK CORP. (“the Company”) announces that the Company recognized valuation loss on investment securities for the fiscal year ended March 2006.

1. Outline

Considering the market value of INVOICE INC. shares as of the fiscal year-end, the Company recognized valuation loss on investment securities for its shares held in INVOICE INC.

2. Impact on stand-alone and consolidated financial results

The Company recognized valuation loss on investment securities of 2.4 billion yen as a special loss on both stand-alone and consolidated basis for the forth quarter of the fiscal year ended March 2006.
