SOFTBANK announces the launch of an experimental demonstration of the internet movie broadcasting service “TV Bank (tentative name)” that provides 3 services; a multi-channel video streaming, Video-On-Demand (VOD), and a video search.

SOFTBANK group (“the Group”) representative: Masayoshi Son) announced today that it launches an experimental demonstration of the internet movie broadcasting service, named “TV Bank (tentative name)” (http://www.tv-bank.com/), which provides 3 services; a multi-channel video streaming, Video-On-Demand (VOD), and a video search on October 20 2005.

The beta version of “TV Bank (tentative name)” is a fully opened type of service in which every broadband-based user can enjoy the various video contents on the net on their PCs, as well as the highly distinguished contents provided by the major contents providers, both domestic and international.

The Group will pursue the verification of the service aligned with the contents providers to enable the official launch next spring or afterwards.
