SOFTBANK CORP. announces that a proposed change in the trade name of SOFTBANK FINANCE CORPORATION (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoshitaka Kitao), our wholly-owned subsidiary has been duly approved at its general meeting of shareholders held today as follows:

1. New Trade Name SOFTBANK AM CORPORATION
2. Date of Change Effective June 28, 2005
3. Reason for Change The business line of the subsidiary is to be changed.
