(head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; COO: Hiroyuki Takahashi; hereinafter “CAMELOT”), which engages in the planning and production of software, mainly games, will commence seeking participants on August 4 for a pre-launch testing of “I LOVE GOLF!”, the first title of the “G-Planet concept”, a new online entertainment service based on the concept “the Internet with full of smiles”.
The goal of the “G-Planet concept” is to build an online playground everyone can enjoy in a safe and secure environment and to provide users with an entertainment service more comprehensive than ever before. This is also to offer an environment where more users, including those who are not accustomed to using PCs on a daily basis, can enjoy online entertainment services.
“I LOVE GOLF!”, the first title of this concept, is an easy-to-enjoy online golf game for everyone with a built-in simple operability that only requires a mouse. This game is equipped with various functions not available with existing video game consoles, enabling the simultaneous display of multiple game screens from different angles and allowing users to adjust window size according to PC usage. In addition, to make it available to more users, it is designed to be comfortably played even on PCs which may not be the most up-to-date.
In terms of promotion/sales/billing and settlement of “I LOVE GOLF!”, ELEVEN-UP and CAMELOT plan to sell “I LOVE GOLF” on the “Yahoo! GAMES” site in alliance with Yahoo Japan Corporation.
ELEVEN-UP and CAMELOT are dedicated to developing an online entertainment business that everyone can enjoy in a safe and secure environment, by further enriching services to realize the “G-Planet concept”.
