
The PrivacyMark System is a system set up to accredit private enterprises that take appropriate measures to protect personal information. Such private enterprises are granted the right to display the PrivacyMark in the course of their business activities. The PrivacyMark System is in compliance with Japan Industrial Standards (JIS Q 15001:2006 [Personal Information Protection Management System - Requirements]).

ISO/IEC27001:2005 (hereinafter “ISO27001”) is an international standard on information security management, which was standardized at ISO (International Organization for Standardization) on October 15, 2005. In conjunction with this, JIS Q 27001:2006 was issued as a domestic standard on May 20, 2006.

TRUSTe Seal Program started in US in 1997 as the Web Privacy Seal Program (Online Privacy Protection Seal Program) in order to improve the credibility and reliability of websites. Under the program, websites that handle personal information are reviewed and certified by a third-party examining organization. This program has been adopted by companies and organizations in 26 countries.
