Efforts to Promote Compliance

Training

SoftBank Group companies are working to raise awareness of compliance among officers and employees by providing e-learning training and training by department, theme, and job position such as training for officers, managers, and new hires. As one of the Group-wide initiatives, Group officers attend training in the form of group discussion sessions using case studies of compliance by an external lawyer as an instructor to reaffirm the officers' responsibilities for compliance. In fiscal 2011, 14 sessions were held, with approximately 200 people attending in total. The sessions covered five themes in areas of Companies Act, Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, Labor law and bribery related matters and others.
