Logo: Banner of KAIENTAI of the 21st Century

SOFTBANK is a company made of people with common aspirations.

'Endeavoring to benefit society and the economy and maximize enterprise value by fostering the sharing of wisdom and knowledge gained through the IT revolution.'

Ambition that Masayoshi Son had at the time of startup. People who share that ambition run together through turbulent times to materialize the ambition - .

SOFTBANK evokes KAIENTAI that was created by Ryoma Sakamoto and his company who lived about 100 years ago during the last days of the Tokugawa Shogunate in Japan. They had a wide range of information and knowledge and led Japan to a modern state with freewheeling thinking and bold action free from their local domain and the social framework back then. They thought about future Japan in 50 or 100 years and rushed through the turbulent days with all their heart and soul to realize their vision. To show respect and empathy to their passion, we uphold the banner of KAIENTAI as our brand symbol.
